Surcingle Belts

So you know I'm a big fan of ribbon belts, but truthfully they're not very good at doing their belt duty of holding up pants. Is it time for a surcingle belt? From J.Press Orvis and Rugby. Problem is that I can't really find a leather/buckle combo I like, maybe the Billy Kirk boys will feel the same need . . . prolly not.

This is Fly

I always have a good time reading this online mag. Kind of the hipster flyfisher, is that possible? This is Fly. This issue featuring the work of Josh Keyes.

Dromarti Sportivo

If only the guy riding the Penny Farthing yesterday was sporting these
instead of those white Asics.... At least he had the mustache for it.

Tibor Nemeth Photography

I always liked the series he did for Simms, he has a great way of capturing the gravitas we give to sports and outdoor activities. More here.

Clark Little

Figured you dig this guy's stuff, seems like a good gig shooting waves. Clark Little Photography.

The Farce is Strong

So good.

Mishka shorts

Now that it's time to think about shorts (thank goodness) here's a pair from Mishka that are similar to the Analog ones I picked up at the Burton sample sale yesterday. The real reason to look at the Mishka site though? This music list.

Suunto Core

You know I'm usually a diehard anti-quartz guy but man this thing is just going for it.

Phil Woods

Phil Woods playing one of my favorite Charlie Parker tunes, talking about Yamahas, sushi and tender soldiers.

The Cast - NYC

OK, so skulls are over, slubby t-shirts might be over, heck, t-shirts at all for me are pretty much over, but still I kinda like this crazy jawless skull shirt from The Cast. As for the striped pants? If I ever become a roadie on a punk tour of Scandinavia, I'll be getting these for the trip.
I do hear that the cast store is very cool and worth the trip if in NYC. Some cool photos in their "news" section as well.

Simms Hip Packs

Seeing as we're going to be doing so much fishing this summer, I might have to require one of these as mandatory.

Lightweight Tipis

I'm looking forward to camping this summer and missing the tipi in the back yard, from Kifaru and GoLite.

The Good, the Bad, the Weird

I say we get together and have a full wall screening if this ever comes out on DVD. C'mon Netflix!

Ma Liang Photography

Ma Liang at Photography Now. I really love the timeless look even with the modern settings and modern clothes on the models. Reminds me a lot of the look and feel of Wind Man, not just the wings either . . .

Hockey Gloves - Just Plain Cool

Thankfully I actually got to buy a pair for a reason. From Hockey Monkey.

Dieter Rams

Amazing how well that stuff holds up over time, just solid. I figured I'd post it as I've been watching it daily. Good Design 10 Commandments.

Camper Camaleon

Camper Camaleon. Nice to see a little more streamlined sneak from Camper, its like an Israeli desert boot ate a Ked. I really dig the gray/natural rubber combo, although the $95 price tag is probably a deal breaker.
